“I am travelling by bike to get from one race to another. For me, a bikepacking race is not only a long race but a kind of “fast travel” at the same time. It makes sense to me to extend into travel beyond the finish line. Between races I take my time, explore the area, do a detour if I feel like doing it and simply enjoy life on the road. The idea came up at the Rhino Run race in Namibia, which was the time when I chose to cancel my return ticket after finishing, went to buy a new front tire and started cycling up north.” – Adrien Lichti Von einem Freund portraited the iconic Gravelbike brand Bombtrack, which is vividly and whole-heartly lived by it’s “Family”. A crew of hardened riders that push their Bombtrack bikes in some of the most treacherous mud and icecold conditions, navigating between buildings, breathing new life and great excitement into the foggy mist of the notorious Paris-Roubaix race
